In the autumn of 2009, a mold remediation was preformed by PowerBees in the upper level bedrooms and in the attic space of a residential property in Concord, MA. The roof sheathing in the attic was sealed and the ceilings and insulation on the upper level were replaced. However, the owner reported that previous air sampling showed the continued presence of mold. Also, in the autumn of 2009 water intrusion reported in a basement crawlspace. At that time a concrete floor was poured, a new sump pump was installed, and a dehumidifier was made operational.

Mold was removed from a property in Southborough by PowerBees. The mold removalwas done using HEPA filtration and was performed under containment. A mold clearance test was performed to verify the absense of mold after the mold remediation had taken place.

Emergency Mold Remediation in South Boston November 30/2010

PowerBees was contacted to perform an emergency mold remediation on a property in South Boston, MA. Previous work had been done on the property and the owners wanted a professional mold remediation company to finish taking care of the problem. PowerBees was able to make an emergency appointment to prevent the further spread of mold spores and particulates to other sections of the property. PowerBees deployed HEPA Air Scrubbers and HEPA Vacuums to remove particulates and spores from all the surfaces and from the air. EPA Registered Microban was also sprayed on all the surfaces to remove any remaining microbial activity.

In the process of building several homes, the framing and plywood sheathing were left exposed to rain. The resulting dampness caused the growth of white mold. A customer called about receiving an estimate on the cost of mold removal for the affected buildings. Mold remediation must take place before construction of the homes can be completed.

PowerBees sent a Certified Mold Inspector to visit the site, and came up with a proposal for mold removal. Before any mold remediation can take place, the homes must be buttoned, which includes the installation of windows, doors and roofing.
