PowerBees was contacted to remediate a storage unit in Wellington, Florida. Thorough HEPA vaccuming are necessary to take remove all the mold spores. The mold was most likely brough in from a large rug which was contaminated is schedulewith several types of mold spores. The mold spread to other contents and surfaces in the storage unit. All of the mold removal must be done under containment to prevent the cross contamination of spores into other units.

A musty odor was discernable in the air ducts in their living room. Embedded black, white and grey mold was identified in the bathroom of a condominium unit. The mold is the result of moisture intrusion from a leaky room.

HEPA vaccuming and treating are the only necessary steps being implemented, since no embedded mold was found. However since there were slightly elevated levels and the was some minor surface mold present, it is still worthwile remediating the mold in order to prevent adverse health effects.

Several mold colonies were found in the air ductsystem in a condominium complex in Lantana, Florida by PowerBees. After microbial air samples were taken, it was concluded that the mold had not spread to any living spaces on the property. Thus, a straightforward cleaning of the air ducts and treatment with Microban antimicrobial should suffice in eliminating the mold.
