The configuration required the technicians to address both the individual horizontal dryer exhausts and the larger common stacks.

The horizontal residential dryer vent exhausts showed varying conditions. Many of the individual runs had excessive lint buildup, while others had substantially less accumulation. This difference demonstrates why inspecting each dryer connection is important in a multifamily setting rather than assuming that every vent is accumulating lint at the same rate.

The 12 common stacks required two technicians to clean over one day, while the approximately 72 individual dryer vents required three additional days of work.
